Lutheran Church at Granton, Clark County, Wis. was the scene of a
beautiful wedding June 19th, 1927, at 3:30 Sunday afternoon, when
Miss Darlene Greeler, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Greeler, of the town of York, Clark County, was united in marriage
to Carl Storm, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Storm of Granton.
Rev. Theo Martens performed the ceremony. The church was
prettily decorated with plants and flowers, Miss Adelda Garbush
played the wedding march as the bridal procession entered the
church. The bridal party was led by two ushers, Hugo Trimberger and
Louie Helm, friends of the groom. Miss Myrtle Schwantes, a friends
of the bride, was maid of honor and wore a peach colored georgette
dress, trimmed with silk lace of the same color. She carried a
shower bouquet of pink roses and snapdragon. Mr. George Greeler,
brother of the bride, acted as best man. He wore a suit of navy
blue. The groom wore a suit of navy blue also. The bride was
dressed in white silk georgette, trimmed with rhinestones and silk
lace. She wore a veil of white silk net with a wreath of white
waxed flowers as a head band. She carried a shower bouquet of white
and pink roses and lilies of the valley, tied on white silk
ribbon. After the
ceremony, there was a reception and six o'clock dinner at the home
of the bride's parents. The dining room was prettily decorated with
pink and white crepe paper and white bells. The waitresses were:
Minnie Buddinger, Hulda Henze, Ruth Northup and Erline and Elnora
Uhlman. About 100 guests were served. A bountiful lunch was served
again at midnight. The newly married
couple will make their home in Granton after July 1st. They left on
a honeymoon trip Wednesday morning and will stop at Ripon, Beaver
Dam, Neosho, Hayward, Ill., Milwaukee and Sheboygan. Those from away
who attended the wedding were: Mr. Herbert Frey and Mrs. John Frey
of Beaver Dam, Wis.; Mrs. George Fappan and baby of Sioux City,
Iowa; Mrs. Lizzie Greeler of Neosho, Wis., Mrs. George Rupprecht
and three children of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Frossen of
